We are a small but dynamic, multi-disciplinary firm whose creative focus is on "community." We work with clients to build a sense of design integrity and develop consensus around the challenges inherent in the design process. We strive always to emphasize and enhance the relationships between the building, its surrounding neighborhood and community, and, most significantly, the people who will inhabit the spaces. Our aim is to engage people, enhance community, and create architectural excellence in your home, your workplace, your place of worship . . . your neighborhood.

Since the early 1980's, beginning with the award-winning "House of the 80's" design competition, we have focused on, and been mindful of sustainable design - working with the site, the natural environment and the best methods and materials to create homes, offices, classrooms and places of worship that work as they are intended, beautifully.

You can find the cf+a touch in projects across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.  Our home designs can be found in New York, Novia Scotia, Montana, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.  Across the region, from Galena and the Galena Territory, to Freeport, Rockford, Huntley and Downers Grove; Madison, Monroe and Platteville, we have proudly served commercial, government and residential clients – and we look forward to serving you!
